Welcome to A Tavola! We are delighted to offer you a unique dining experience by hosting dinner parties at your home. Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully as they outline the guidelines for our services and your responsibilities as our client.

Dietary Requirements

At A Tavola, we strive to accommodate various dietary needs to ensure everyone enjoys their dining experience. Our standard price per head includes catering for vegetarian and gluten-free (GF) diets.

For those requiring vegan, pescatarian, or other specific dietary accommodations, we charge a rate of $175 per head. This additional charge is due to the necessity of sourcing and preparing an entirely separate meal for the individual.

Breakages Deposit

A refundable deposit of $200 is required to cover any potential breakages during the event. This deposit will be returned to you after the event, provided there are no breakages.

Booking Deposit

To secure your event date, a non-refundable deposit of $200 is required and due within 2 days of request. This deposit is necessary because reserving your date prevents other clients from booking on the same day, potentially resulting in lost business. However, this deposit will be deducted from the total price of your booking if you proceed with the dinner party.

Payment and Cancellation

  • The remaining balance for your event is due 7 days before your event.

  • If you need to cancel your event, please notify us as soon as possible. The $200 booking deposit is non-refundable unless cancelled 1 month out from our event date.

  • In case of cancellation, any additional payments made beyond the booking deposit may be refundable at our discretion, based on the timing of the cancellation and our ability to rebook the date.

Appliance Requirements

To comply with council regulations and ensure the quality of our service, it is required that all necessary appliances on site are in working order. This includes, but is not limited to, a stove, oven, fridge, and freezer. These appliances are essential for the preparation and storage of food during the event. If any of these appliances are not functioning, it may impact our ability to deliver the service, and we reserve the right to cancel the event without a refund.

Liability

  • A Tavola is not liable for any damages or injuries occurring during the event, except where caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

  • Clients are responsible for providing a safe and suitable environment for the event.

Privacy

We respect your privacy and will only use your personal information for the purposes of arranging and conducting your event. We will not share your information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

Agreement

By booking an event with A Tavola, you agree to these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time, and we will notify you of any significant changes.
